Fresh Dairy pays 100-years plus old Mzee a courtesy visit on Valentine’s Day
Fresh Dairy yesterday excited Mzee Amoti Ebenezer Nyakabwa, who is aged 100 years plus with a surprise Valentines gifting that comprised a bouquet of flowers and an assortment of Fresh Dairy products that included Fresh Milk, Flavoured Milk, Long life milk, Butter and Yoghurt.
Nyakabwa profoundly remembers that way back, he used to enjoy Fresh Dairy’s Pyramid milk, which is popularly now known as TCA (Tetra Classic Aseptic) milk. He said that, he used to buy milk products for his children from Dairy Corporation which was the only producer of milk products in Uganda then.
Belonging to the Basumbi clan of Tooro kingdom, Nyakabwa said that they are the cattle people of Tooro with the obligation of making ghee for the King. His family members later requested to taste Fresh Dairy’s ghee, since they are the royal makers of ghee for the King of Tooro.
Nyakabwa further added that currently he loves Fresh Dairy’s strawberry yoghurt, which is his favourite flavour. He also noted that he never takes tea without milk.
Nyakabwa who played tennis till the age of 90 years said he was the first black African Administrator at Mulago hospital.

To this end, we opted to use Valentines being a day of love, to share love with some of our loyal customers as well as Agents who distribute and sell our products.’
Other winners for the day included the most active social media fans on the Fresh Dairy Facebook page who included Frank Lukwago, Timothy Sseruyange, Rita Nassali, Elly Ssemwogerere, and Emmanuel Muhumuza while the Agents rewarded for their outstanding sales performance in 2018 were Maya Emmanuel from Makonde, Deogratius Kalule from Entebbe and Edwin Bainomugisha from Kampala’s Central Business District, Deo Okia from Mukono and Kamoga William from Ntinda.
Fresh Dairy produces a wide range of dairy products to include Fresh Milk, Flavoured milk, Long life or UHT milk, powdered milk, yoghurt, butter, ghee and cream.
