He has wished me the best and has given me good advice. I had a good conversation with him. ‘Absolute nonsense (that Ferguson tried to talk him out of it). I had a good chat with Mehmet (Dalman, the chairman). They want me to be in charge of the football. I don’t need more confirmation than seeing the players yesterday.
