The Member of Parliament for Kashari North in Mbarara District, Hon. Musinguzi Patrick, has today challenged youth leaders of Kashari to embrace government wealth-creation programmes such as Parish Development Model (PDM) and the Youth Livelihood Programme to eradicate poverty and improve their household incomes.
The legislator also called upon Youth Leaders in Kashari to remain disciplined, work hard, avoid criminal activities, and engage in productive income-generating ventures.
In turn, the Youth leaders commended their Member of Parliament for equipping them with knowledge on how to access and benefit from the Parish Development Model and other government empowerment programmes.
With a few months on the seat, Hon. Musinguzi Patrick has been instrumental in uplifting the people of Kashari North and he has also already achieved a number of developmental projects in the area. This is just the beginning of the good things to come from the man dubbed Akooki ka Kashari loosely translated as the honey of Kashari. Watch the space!!!
