SGR to employ 90% Ugandans
90% of workers at Standard Gauge Railway Uganda (SGR) will be Ugandans, we can reveal. The percentage of foreign workers at SGR is 10%. Work on the project will be day and night and will last for 42 months.
“Did you know 90% of workers on SGR will be Ugandans and 10% foreigners. Work will be day and night. Non-stop for 42 months,” SGR posted.
Meter Gauge railways are built with smaller curves. SGR’s 1.435m Gauge has wider curves enabling higher speeds and heavy loading.
