The Minister for ICT and National Guidance who also doubles as Kibale East MP Hon. Frank Kagyigyi Tumwebaze has praised the work of Public Relations Association of Uganda (PRAU). He said PR has its right professional role to play in the development of every sector and business.
He said working together with the government and PRAU leadership, he will spear head a bill that will give PRAU & the PR profession statutory recognition.
The minister said this during the 7th RAU Excellence Awards and Gala Dinner held at Kampala Sheraton Hotel last weekend.
In a special mention, he thanked Cynthia Mpanga, President of PRAU for the inviting him and for organising a fabulous event.
“Thank you PRAU leadership and members for inviting me to officiate at your 7th Excellence awards. We had good time and indeed PR has its right professional role to play in the development of every sector and business.
