Police PRO calls for punctuality   

Uganda Police Force Spokesperson, AIGP Asan Kasingye has urged fellow Police officers to be punctual so as to execute their duties perfectly.

He said this during interface with Police staff in Masaka and Bukomansimbi districts in a two-day rectification campaign.

The Police mouth piece emphasised the need for all police personnel to know their duty schedule as per their deployment as this is very critical in their performance appraisal.

He urged Police staff in the two districts to always follow the force procedures as spelt out in the Police Act to handle administrative issues instead of relying on patronage which he strongly condemned.

Kasingye reacted to a number of concerns raised about police by the local leaders especially in Masaka district and promised positivity in the near future.

Bukomansimbi community was happy about Police in countering insecurity in the district. There hasn’t been any incident since February.

Greater Masaka region was recently invaded by machetes and panga wielding thugs who terrorised the locals killing some of them as well as stealing their hard earned cash. The situation is stabilising.
