Photos: Bryan White Foundation donates to Arua inmates
Bryan White foundation on Friday shared a jolly moment with inmates at Arua Prisons and the CEO Bryan White, advised the inmates not to lose hope. “It’s not the end of life, stay calm, reform and you can be better citizens by doing productive work when you get out.” He said. It was a memorable moment as the team served inmates with eats and drinks.
Items like blankets, soap, bicycles, sugar, rice, liquid soap, jerrycans, beans, sanitary pads for ladies, pampers for their kids, mosquito nets to mention but a few.
On top of the donations, the foundation promised to make sure both prisons have full access to DStv starting this weekend. Bryan White also promised to equip carpentry department with the state of the art modern machines and on addition donated UGX 5m to the prison SACCO.
The foundation team did not only stop at prisons, but also donated seedlings, farming equipment like pump sprayers and bicycles to Arua Barracks soldiers. Most of the soldiers are involved in farming and the equipment will help them to carry out their farming with ease.
