The State Minister for Economic Monitoring in the Office of the President Hon. Peter Ogwang has told leaders and civil servants to manage the Parish Development Model Funds cautiously and desist from acts of corruption.
The Minister said this while monitoring government projects in Kira Municipality earlier this week.
He said the Parish Development Model can be a game changer in the fight against poverty.
While in Makindye, the minister said if the government managed to defeat Kony, it can also defeat corruption.
He cautioned leaders against hindering government projects.
“If we defeated Kony and the ADF, what about corruption in civil service? we shall defeat it. Tomorrow, we shall wind up with Makindye-Ssabagabo and thereafter, proceed to Entebbe Municipality,” Hon. Peter Ogwang tweeted.
