By the end of this month, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is expected to serve Kampala Metropolitan using two plants; Ggaba and Katosi.
This will address the high demand for water services in many parts of the city and the surrounding areas.
Areas of Mukono, Seeta, Jinja-Misindye, Bweyogerere- Butto, Kyanja, Buwate, Namugongo, Kiwatule, Sonde, Kyebando, Kisaasi, Komamboga, Kyebando Central, Kawuku, Nabusugwe, Bulindo, Kira, Nsasa, Mbalwa, Mulawa and other areas experiencing no water situations, NWSC is on the ground designing engineering solutions to address the no water challenges as they continue to test the new Katosi water system.
