NWSC to lead Kyambogo Hill joint sewer line project

Kyambogo Hill is evolving into Uganda’s premier Education Hub, home to institutions like MOES, IUCEA, UBTEB, and more. To support this rapid growth, National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) is spearheading the Kyambogo Hill Joint Sewer Line Project, ensuring sustainable waste management and environmental protection.

Unlike septic tanks, this modern sewer system will connect directly to Kampala’s public sewer grid, setting a standard for environmentally friendly urban development.

Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha, NWSC MD, stated, “This system prepares Kyambogo Hill for sustainable urban growth while safeguarding the environment.”
