NWSC restores water supply in Kampala after Ggaba works

‘Team No Sleep’ of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has finished its 20 hours DN800 heavy duty Ggaba-Kampala bulk transmission main reconfiguration works. This means supply to Mutungo, Kitintale, Bugolobi, Nakawa, Ntinda, Naguru, Kyambogo, Banda, Kireka, Bweyogerere, Seeta-Nantabulirwa, Mukono, Kyaliwajjala, Namugongo, parts of Naalya, Matugga, parts of Kawempe, sir Apollo Kaggwa road, Namirembe hill, Mengo, Lugala, Lubya, Masanafu and the surrounding areas has been restored. NWSC humbly requests its dear customers, for patience as the system stabilises to serve them better.

The system reconfiguration works at Ggaba water works were designed to serve customers better. Pumpage to Mutungo, Kitintale, Bugolobi, Nakawa, Ntinda, Naguru, Kyambogo, Banda, Kireka, Bweyogerere, Seeta-Nantabulirwa, Mukono, Kyaliwajjala, Namugongo, parts of Naalya, Matugga, parts of Kawempe, sir Apollo Kaggwa road, Namirembe hill, Mengo, Lugala, Lubya, Masanafu and the surrounding areas was halted as the works were ongoing.
