National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) on Thursday this week launched tree planting campaign in Karamoja region. The launch was held at Kangole High Girls School in Moroto.
The campaign is part of a country wide campaign by the water body dubbed One Million Tree Planting Campaign. The Karamoja campaign targets 15,000 trees.
“On Thursday evening, we launched a 15,000 tree planting campaign for Karamoja region at Kangole High Girls school Moroto with the school water and sanitation club members. #1milliontrees4UG #NwscWorks,” NWSC posted.
