National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has given the people of Kasese early Christmas by installing public water points at Kilembe. The water points are aimed at improving access to safe and clean water in Kilembe cell.
“Early Christmas in Kasese, we have installed public water points along the new Kilembe transmission mains to improve access to safe clean water in Kilembe cell, Kasese Municipality,” NWSC posted.
In related development, NWSC has installed water pumps at various new booster stations along Entebbe Road. The move is part of NWSC water supply stabilization plans being implemented to boost water supply along Entebbe road and in many other parts across the country.
NWSC today off loaded 2.6kms of water mains to extend safe water and serve the people in Kanungu district.
Meanwhile NWSC has commenced the constructing of a 100,000 litre capacity twin water tank in Biizi to boost water supply reliability in Masindi town.
