NWSC extends clean and safe water to Bunyaruguru, Rubirizi areas

National water body, The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) on Monday launched its operations in the districts of Bunyaruguru and Rubirizi in Western Uganda.

NWSC Managing Director Eng Dr. Silver Mugisha and the outgoing Minister of Water Prof Ephraim Kamuntu officiated at the function.

“Yesterday, the Hon Minister of Water Prof Ephraim Kamuntu, the NWSC MD Dr.Eng Silver Mugisha, Rubirizi district leaders and our dear customers officiated at the launch of NWSC operations in Rubirizi-Bunyaruguru area. The team also commissioned the new 677,850,000 refurbished water system to improve the lives of our people in the area with a number of public water points in Buhingo-Ahankungu and Kagando Kichwamba Sub County. Every day, our engineers are extending pipes from town to town, across hills and valleys to achieve water for all. Water for all,” NWSC posted.
