NWSC ‘arrests’ and fines more water ‘thieves’
National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSCW) has this week continued to unearth water thieves. The water body’s field staffs have been very active this week thereby unearthing several properties with illegal water connections in Naalya estate. Over 10 premises were found with illegal water connections and fined.
Another owner of a 3 acre nursery bed along Mukono-Katosi Road was nabbed using an illegal water connection to water his plants.
NWSC has advised its dear customers to legalize their water connection today and avoid the ongoing name and shame campaign.
“Customers who use water illegally deny other deserving customers a right to safe clean water. Report any suspected illegal water connections in your area and help us serve you better,” NWSC posted on their wall.
