The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC)- Kampala Water regrets to inform its valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply today, Friday 10th April, 2026, from 7am to 7pm.
This is to allow for a routine maintenance exercise of the treatment units and electro-mechanical systems at the Ggaba 2 water complex.
Affected areas include;
Kampala CBD, Muyenga, Kansanga, Kololo, parts of Jinja Road-Nakawa, Banda, Kyambogo, Mutungo, Nakawa, Parts of Mbuya, Bombo Road-Bwaise, Kawempe, Matugga, Kawanda, Mulago, Makerere, Namirembe, Lubaga, Makindye, Nsambya and the surrounding areas.
Rubaga service area;
Bulenga, Nansana, Wakiso and Kakiri, Nateete, Nakulabye, Wankulukuku, Mutundwe, parts of Kyengera TC, Masanafu, Lubya, Kasubi, Hoima rd and the surrounding areas.
Customers are therefore advised to store enough water and use it sparingly during this downtime.
