Top Ugandan TV Station, NTV Uganda has replaced popular TV presenter and events emcee, Edwin Katamba aka MC Kats. In an official statement, NTV Uganda announced that MC Esco will be replacing MC Kats, as the new host of Xpozed. NTV revealed that MC Kats had left because his contract with them had expired.
The Serena-based TV Station also wished Kats all the best in his future endeavours and affirmed its viewers that MC Esco has enough experience and Knowledge to take over the music show, which airs every Saturday.
Esco who replaces Kats, had already been co-hosting the show and gathered relevant knowledge and experience. The station believes Esco will be a good fit for the program which targets young viewers. The station says they have been grooming and training this young talent to appeal to the young viewers.
The statement from NTV further said “Xposed is our signature music show for young viewers and Esco fits well within our strategy to refresh and align our presenters with our viewers and their tastes.
Esco will easily connect with them and we know he fits the bill perfectly.”
Meanwhile MC Kats has joined rival NBS Television. He has kick off work today at Kamwokya based station.
