The Uganda Bikers Association have joined Angella Katatumba’s Mulago Yaffe Campaign to raise money for the Mulago Cancer institute and have also chosen Angella Katatumba to be their Honorary Ambassador.

Since 2003, Uganda Bikers have raised a total of UGX 117m and donated it to Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Kids Reach out.

HISTORY

The Uganda Bikers that was formed in 2003, has raised funds with help over the years from eligible and legitimate sponsors as follows;
2003 – Donated 9 Million UGX to the Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Kids Reach Out.
2004 – Donated 55 Million to the Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Kids Reach Out. Launched the Johannesburg-Kampala Motorcycle Challenge in which they preached the ABC-D slogan during the fight against HIV/AIDS Transversed 6 countries namely South Africa, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda teaching them their ABC-D approach to the fight against HIV/AIDS.
2005 – Raised 12 Million UGX to the Phaleng IDP Camp in Northern
Uganda with Food and other items.
2006 – Donated 9 Million UGX to the Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Kids Reach Out.
2007-2009
– Donated scholastic materials to Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Kids Reach Out and painted the classroom blocks.
2010 – Donated 14 Million UGX to Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Kids Reach Out.
2012 – Donated 15 Million UGX to the Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Kids Reach Out.
2013 – Donated scholastic materials to Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Kids Reach Out.
2014 – Took one kid from the Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Reach Out to India to pursue a 5 year fully sponsored Engineering course.
2015 – Raised 3 Million UGX to ABETAVU Orphanage in Gayaza, Zirobwe Road for medication of a child who had a brain tumour and offered and prepared Christmas lunch for the entire orphanage.
