Entebbe Municipality Member of Parliament (MP) Tumusiime Rosemary’s daughter, Doreen Tashobya and a one Patrick Businge were today morning killed in a motor accident.
Police’s deputy spokesperson Polly Namaye said the two were riding on a bike to Tashobya’s work place this morning when they got involved in a fatal accident.

RIP; Doreen
The motorcycle they were riding, Reg no. UDS 502N Bajaj boxer collided with a Isuzu Truck Reg UAP 872J that was carrying sand. The accident occurred at Muziga Park on Entebbe road. Businge who was riding the bike is an employee of the MP.
Namaye further said police are hunting for the driver of the Isuzu truck who is on the run. However, the truck and the motorcycle have been towed to Entebbe Police Station for inspection. Cause of the accident is suspected to have been reckless driving on the part of the truck driver. An Inquiry file has been opened up to investigate circumstances that led to this accident.
“Drivers and riders are cautioned to exercise caution while on the road so as to avoid such accidents,” said Ms Namaye.
Doreen’s death has caused an outcry on social media with many calling for the regulation of Boda Bodas in and around Kampala.
