The Minister of Health Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng has praised Health workers in Lira who are working on patients of COVID-19 caused by Coronavirus. The minister described them as heroes.
“I had an opportunity to talk to the health workers who are managing the COVID-19 cases at Lira Regional Referral Hospital. They are the heroes of this fight against COVID-19.
Government of Uganda is in solidarity with the entire health workforce and all the challenges are being addressed. Thank you teams. You are great,” Hon. Jane Aceng said.
