A new singer has been born in Mbarara and she is likely to give the likes of Doris Mutahunga and Agatha Kaffoko a run for their money. Shanitah Rose, 23, sings in Runyankore, Luganda and some English.
Who is Shanitah?
She describes herself as someone who is single and likes singing. She started in 2012. She was inspired by Eddy Kenzo because he was the first person to tell her, ‘Shanitah you can sing if you focus’. Rose has so far released 10 songs with 7 videos.
The songs are Oburite, Humura, Signal, Debampa, Kabakayisanyo, Nafunye, Mulenzi Wange, Ondaaza, Nkangala Nga Bweneyagala, Mundongo, Kamwe and Okambla Murungi which is a gospel song. Her dream is to become famous all over the world.
The singer said she has dreams of working with Cindy, Kenzo, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown. She likes swimming and her favorite movie is Titanic.
