Busoga Tourism and Heritage Minister Hon. Hellen Olga Namutamba has revealed Rt. Hon. Rebecca Kadaga has decided to take back the 19- year N0. 5 African Female Boxing Champion Miss Salimat back to school.
Her dream comes true as per request to Maama Kadaga to take her to school.
Salimat has joined primary six at Jinja City Junior School Kimaka owned by Hon Kisa Stephen.
Hon. Hellen has hailed Maama Kadaga for fulfilling her promise adding that Education is the future.
Salimat Tibesigwa, 19, a renowned female boxing champion will now have her dream of returning to school come true after Hon. Rebecca Kadaga’s intervention.
According to Hon. Namutamba Hellen, Minister for Tourism and cultural heritage, Salimat had dropped out of school due to financial constraints and joined boxing.
However, she requested Hon. Kadaga to help her return to school during the recently concluded Kagulu Rock Challenge, in front of his majesty the Kyabazinga.
