M7 to host annual Presidential Media Round Table
President Yoweri Museveni Kaguta has revealed that he will host annual Presidential Media Round Table, we can confirm. This was confirmed His Excellency himself after the 1st and inaugural Presidential Media Round Table held on Saturday at State House.
Hon. Frank Tumwebaze, the Minister of ICT and National Guidance said the conversation was very good and constructive. The president said the meeting will be an annual event.
“The 1st and inaugural Presidential Media Round Table was a very good conversation on Saturday at State House Entebbe with H.E the President giving a key inaugural address to the media Executives on the historical journey of Africa’s formation and the challenges we face as a continent. He appealed to the media not to be part of the problem but the solution the African continent so much requires. We agreed to follow up issues raised on both sides and meet once a yr. I thank H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni 4 accepting our ministry’s proposal of conducting a media round table for media practitioners and professionals like he does for investors and other interest groups. I thank my colleagues at State House Uganda Molly Kamukama Wanyama Don, Linda Nabusayi for enabling this to happen,” Frank Tumwebaze said.
