Senior ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) mobilizer in Kiryandongo District, Hon. Likambo Bahti Taylor, has said he is willing to donate more land for Bweyale Town Council to expand so as to get the Municipal Council status.
The former Kibanda North County MP contestant Hon. Likambo Bahti Taylor is championing call for the award of Municipality status to Bweyale and they have appealled to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to listen to them and award them the status.
He said awarding Bweyale, a municipal council status, will speed up the development of the area which will in turn improve boosting the economy through tax collection.
