Hon. Likambo Bahti Taylor, former Kibanda North County kiryandongo District MP contestant is championing grassroot mobilisation for NRM in different communities in the area.
He said the initiative is aimed at reaching out to the communities to spread the word of development in the entire country through supporting government programs like Emyooga, PDM and Wealth Creation.
“Together we can achieve for all and continue supporting government programs to lift our people out of poverty,” Likambo said.

Meanwhile Likambo has revealed his support for the Sovereignty Bill 2026 saying it will add value to the governance.
The Protection of Sovereignty Bill, 2026, tabled in Uganda’s Parliament on April 15, 2026, aims to regulate foreign funding and influence, sparking significant alarm over potential violations of civil liberties. It proposes up to 20 years in prison for individuals receiving undisclosed foreign funds or engaging in activities deemed disruptive, such as promoting, without government approval, initiatives financed by foreign actors.
He has asked the Parliament to handle and tackle the bill perfectly for the benefits of the intended parties.
