The Operation Wealth Creation Civil Coordinator, Greater Kampala who also doubles as the President of Federation of Uganda Social Media Influencers, Mr. Edson Kirabira, has urged the leaders of all political parties to tell their members to put politics aside and work for national unity and development.
Speaking from his offices in Munyonyo, Kirabira said leaders should remind people that Uganda has moved forward adding that what people need now is hope which comes from economic opportunities.
Below is his full statement;
“I respectfully call upon Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and the leadership of the National Unity Platform (NUP), as well as the leaders and members of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) led by H.E. Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, and the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) led by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, to remind our people, especially the youth, that Uganda has moved forward.
We are no longer living in a season defined only by politics. Many of our members across all parties are angry, frustrated, and hungry because they remain trapped in political tension. What they need most right now is hope. And hope comes through economic opportunity.
It is time for us to shift our collective focus toward improving household incomes and building sustainable livelihoods for these young men and women through commercial farming and entrepreneurship.
I therefore urge NUP, NRM, and PLU foot soldiers and supporters to actively engage in commercial farming and to take advantage of available government programs, regardless of political affiliation. Those who remain stuck in political bitterness while others work will inevitably be left behind.

We are tired of it. The future belongs to those who plant, produce, and build,”
