Kiryandongo District Woman MP Hon. Katusiime Jovia Mbabazi has
emphasized the importance of collaboration between religious leaders, elected leaders, and the community in promoting unity, peace, social development, and improved service delivery for the people of Kiryandongo.

She said this while attending a special function held at Runyanya Church of Uganda Parish during the pastoral visit of the Bishop of Masindi-Kitara Diocese, Rt. Rev. Joshua Kugonza Amooti over the weekend.

The occasion brought together Christians, church leaders, local leaders, and members of the community in a spirit of faith, fellowship, unity, and thanksgiving.


“I expressed my appreciation to the Church for the invitation and commended the leadership of Masindi-Kitara Diocese and Runyanya Church of Uganda Parish for their continued commitment to strengthening the Christian faith and promoting the wellbeing of communities. I emphasized the importance of collaboration between religious leaders, elected leaders, and the community in promoting unity, peace, social development, and improved service delivery for the people of Kiryandongo. I also expressed my gratitude to Rt. Rev. Joshua Kugonza Amooti for visiting the parish and for sharing words of encouragement, spiritual guidance, and hope with the Christian community. It was an honour to join the faithful of Runyanya Church of Uganda Parish on this meaningful occasion. I remain committed to working together with the religious and community leaders to promote unity, peace, and sustainable development for the people of Kiryandongo,” Hon. Katusiime Jovia Mbabazi said.
