The MP for Usuk County in Katakwi District who also doubles as the State Minister for ICT Hon. Peter Ogwang has revealed that 300 women have so far benefited from his goat project in Katakwi district.
He went to reveal that he will be distributing 1000 goats to more groups in the district.
“A day in the farm. So far, over 300 goats have been given out to benefit more than 30 women groups in Katakwi. Late this month, I will be distributing 1000 goats to more women groups. This project is a personal initiative meant to empower households to create wealth,” Hon. Peter said.
In related development, students of Katakwi Technical School are set receive computers this week. The minister said this is part of digitalising Uganda.
