Latest info our desk has it that, AIGP Asan Kasingye has been appointed Chief Political Commissar and spokesperson of Uganda Police Force. He replaces the slain AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi who was gunned down on Friday as he left his home for work.
Inspector General of Police Kale Kayihura made the changes. He also appointed AIGP Fred Yiga Director of Interpol & International relations, the position Kasingye has been serving.
Meanwhile Police has announced that the 5 suspects have so far been arrested in connection with the murder of AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi. The five are detained in Fort Portal and Kireka respectively.
