Information on Mafias fighting Emyooga project leaks

A close source has revealed plans of a mafia group who have intentions of ruining the smooth operation of the Emyooga program. It is said that the mafia group is made of top loan sharks who run big loan companies.

Our source who asked for his identity not to be revealed said that the loan sharks are not happy ever since the government implemented the Emyooga program. It is said that ever since the Emyooga was introduced, they have very few people coming to them for loans and that they rather opted for the Emyooga loans.

Our source further tipped us that these loan sharks have plans to have group of people running to the media to talk bad about the Emyooga program and some of them have already started. All these plans are discussed in a secret meeting that they hold at secretive locations in Kampala.

It should be noted that the Emyooga program was put up by President Museveni and it is spearheaded by Minister of Microfinance and Small Entreprises Hon Haruna Kyeyune Kasolo.

During his presentation at the beginning of the week in Kyankwanzi during the ongoing NRM caucus, Hon Kasolo said that the Emyooga program is doing very well and it is almost hitting the target of creating more wealth and bringing households close to the money economy.

Members of Parliament who attended the caucus also appreciated the good work done by Hon Kasolo with the Emyooga project because it is not only helping people from his jurisdiction but rather everyone in Uganda located in different parts.
