The Permanent Secretary Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, Ms Aminah Zawedde has said she was honored to have received the ABETO Peace Award 2026 alongside her colleagues.
Speaking after receiving the award, Zawedde said, “this award isn’t just a personal milestone; it’s a tribute to our collective effort in the ICT sector to build a more connected, informed, and peaceful Uganda”.
“Technology is a tool, but peace and tolerance are the values that make it work for everyone. Grateful to H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the opportunity to serve, and to my family & team for the constant support.
