Hon. Ogwang launches Digital Literacy Training for Eastern Region

The State minister for ICT Hon. Peter Ogwang accompanied by Fred Otunnu, the Director Corporate Affairs at Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) yesterday launched the 9th Digital Literacy Training for SMEs in Soroti at Light SS – Eastern Uganda.

Present at the launch also were officials from the Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises.

The minister said he was pleased at the launching the training which will provide business efficiency and new opportunities for global economy participation.

“I am today pleased to launch the Digital Literacy training for SMEs in the Eastern Region in Soroti. Digitalization of such SMEs will provide business efficiencies & new opportunities for global economy participation. We shall continue to invest in enhancing ICT infrastructure,” Hon. Peter Ogwang tweeted after the launch.
