Hon. Frank Tumwebaze praises Equity Bank for putting up tough COVID-19 measures
The Minister of Gender, Labour and Social Development and Kibale East County MP Hon. Frank Tumwebaze has heaped praises on Equity Bank Uganda for putting up tough measures to fight the spread of deadly COVID-19. The disease is caused by Coronavirus.
The Minister was yesterday morning bounced from accessing the bank’s premises because he wasn’t wearing a mask as one of the requirement to access the bank.
While posting on his social media platforms, the minister thank the financial institution for enforcing COVID-19 prevention protocols. He called on other institutions to do the same.
“Thanks to my bank Equity Bank for being tough with enforcing COVID-19 prevention protocols. This morning I made a mistake for which I plead guilty to and most sincerely apologize. I forgot my mask home and was bounced at the bank. I took off to pick one. Learnt my lesson,” Hon. Frank Tumwebaze tweeted.
