

Heineken premieres James Bond’s latest production ‘Spectre’ movie in Uganda
There was pomp and glamour at Acacia Mall’s Century Cinemax as Heineken Uganda launched the latest James Bond production ‘Spectre’ on Thursday. Put on your bow ties, drop your martini glasses and grab your Heineken beer – Bond is back.
The new Bond Movie, Spectre, has made a premiere around the world and Kampala is not being left behind. The premiere took place at Century Cinemax on 5th November through an invite only guest list.

In a statement released to newsrooms, Heineken Uganda Country Sales Manager, Nathan Akandwanaho stated that, “The Bond man and Heineken signify similar kinds of things, in terms of being witty, being confident and being aspirational, so there’s a fantastic tie-in with Heineken and James Bond.’’
The cast and crew of the James Bond movie officially launched the film at the Royal Film in London on 26th October 2015. Critics have generally given positive reviews praising the films opening scene, action sequences and stunt work. British High Commissioner to Uganda Ms Alison Blackburne was the chief guest.
