Heineken’s epic UEFA Champions League campaign closed in style last Saturday when sponsors Heineken treated consumers and football fans to a night of great live screening.
In Kampala, Legends, Casablanca, Zone 7 and Panamera painted the town Heineken green while in Gulu fans thronged BJ’s, Entebbe had O’S Bar, Jinja had Bax bar on roll while Mbarara fans had their fair share at The Heat Club.
The final that saw Real Madrid trounce Atletico Madrid 4-1 to lift the prestigious UEFA Champions League trophy also saw Heineken VIPs enjoy a live screening party unlike any other previously seen in Uganda.
Heineken Country Manager Uganda Juliana Kaggwa thanked consumers for the enormous support they have accorded the brand and recognised those who participated in Heineken’s 2014 Foosball Challenge, which saw the winners and owners of the winning outlets flown to the legendary Island of Ibiza where they watched the match in the company of other winners and VIPs from all over the world.
