Green Festival to plant 30,000 trees by September

The annual Green Festival slated for September 11th 2016 at Kololo Airstrip has embarked on planting 30,000 trees by September before the main event.

“2016 Green Festival we are embarking on one of the Core Objective.. Tree Planting. Target to plant 30,000 Trees by September 11th .Every tree counts .Plant one now and let us know. At home, School, Church, Mosque, Anywhere and if you can, share a picture. Be Part of the great 30,000 fruit Trees, Journey to the Green Festival,” Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green posted.

Meanwhile Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green and My Kid Is A Superstar have sealed a deal with television giants NBS Television and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) to be part of this year’s Green Festival. The partnership was signed by Joseph Masembe of Uganda’s Little Hands Go Green, NBS Chief Kin Kariisa and KCCA Executive Director, Jennifer Musisi earlier this week. Entrance to the festival is 10k per kid and free to adults. Gates open at 10am-6pm.
