Sad news in Uganda’s tourism sector and Uganda as a Nation as Zakayo, Uganda’s oldest Chimpanzee passes on.
Zakayo succumbed to chronic Gastroenteritis. It has been kept at Uganda Wildlife Education Centre (UWEC) Entebbe Zoo for close to 42 years. Zakayo died at the age of 54. RIP Zakayo.
