Former security minister and Chief spy Lt. Gen. Henry Tumukunde has written to Electoral Commission notifying them of his intentions to start consultations ahead of 2021 presidential elections.
EC Publicity Jotham Taremwa confirmed to us that they have indeed received letter the general. “We received his letter and we will reply him soon,” Taremwa said.
“Fellow Ugandans, I have officially notified the Electoral Commission that I will be proceeding to carry out consultations across the country. Details to follow. #HenryTumukunde2021,” Henry Tumukunde posted.
