Fresh Dairy gifts the less privileged this festive season

Donates over 500 litres of flavoured milk

Kampala: As part of this year’s festive season tidings, Fresh Dairy has this week gifted the less privileged communities at Mapeera Kateyamba Home and Gem Foundation – Kabuusu with over 500 litres of Fresh Dairy flavoured milk.

While Mapeera Kateyamba Home looks after the vulnerable and elderly, Gem Foundation is a home that cares for abandoned special needs children.

 Vincent Omoth, Marketing Manager Fresh Dairy said, ‘Fresh Dairy believes in giving back to the communities in which we operate. This festive season, we have gifted two less privileged homes of Mapeera Kateyamba and Gem Foundation as a way of not only showing our support but also to ensure that Fresh Dairy products which are healthy and nutritious are consumed this festive season.

Sister Maria Mildred Abitegeka the Secretary and Bursar of Mapeera Kateyamba while receiving the flavoured milk on behalf of the Home from the Marketing Coordinator – Fresh Dairy, Monica Kulabako applauded Fresh Dairy for the gesture.

The Gems Foundation Home Supervisor; Ms. Marion Okecho who received the flavoured milk on behalf of the Home also thanked Fresh Dairy for the donation and noted that the children will greatly benefit from consuming the nutritious milk. She also noted that the 70 members of staff that care for the special needs children at the home will also receive some of the flavoured milk as part of their Christmas appreciation package.

Omoth concluded by noting that Fresh Dairy will continue giving back to the less privileged, vulnerable and special needs communities this festive season.
