

Frank Tumwebaze praises M7 after Tooro Tour, set to write a book about himself & community
Kibale East County in Kamwenge District MP Hon. Frank Tumwebaze who also doubles as the Minister for Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) has praised and appreciated President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni & Maama Janet Museveni for visiting their district to check on the household income efforts.
In 2004, the President advised Kamwenge farmers to stop relying only on maize;- which is unprofitable on a small scale and people listened & transitioned into coffee which is making them profits. He said the president has engineered more energy into the community as the fight against poverty goes on.
In related development after the President’s visit, Hon. Frank spent a day out with his constituents doing their monthly community work ( bulungi bwansi).
They started on fixing the road choke between Biguli sub county & Biguli town council to enable farm connectivity and easy market access. “I thank friends that gave us murram and fundraised to buy culverts,” Hon. Frank said.
Meanwhile Hon. Frank has revealed that he is planning on writing a book with a proposed title of “My community & I”, which he intends to begin writing after next elections.
“Our community’s journey has been phenomenal! We thank God for the journey this far! Thank you, Excellency Mzee Kaguta Museveni for transforming our hitherto underserved communities,” Hon. Frank Tumwebaze wrote on X.
