First son Muhoozi Kainerugaba quits the army after 28 years of service

First son Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has announced his retirement from the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) after 28 years of service.
In a tweet today, the first Son announced that he is retiring from the army after 28 years of service.

The general said he is happy to announce his retirement saying him and his soldiers have achieved much.
Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has been the commander of Land Forces.
“After 28 years of service in my glorious military, the greatest military in the world, I am happy to announce my retirement. Me and my soldiers have achieved so much! I have only love and respect for all those great men and women that achieve greatness for Uganda everyday,” Muhoozi Kainerugaba tweeted.
