Exploring your purpose with Manuela Mulondo
By Manuela Pacutho Mulondo
Ever heard the saying; “Your salary is the price you pay for your dreams?” I don’t subscribe to the thought because the truth is that it only applies for those who were born to be entrepreneurs….. not all of us were created for the for the hustle. Some people flourish way better at the work place or at home.
That said, for the true entrepreneurs, this statement rings true because indeed you have been bought off by your salary.
Last week, I asked a question that got me pondering for so long, what determines your purpose? What criteria do you use to conclude, “This is what I was made for”
Is your talent the determinant? Or is it your skill? Or what you love doing? I am reminded of the time I thought I was created to sing, well because, I didnt sound too bad on the microphone, infact, I was a back up singer at Church, leading worship every once in a blue moon. Oh did I mention that came with dance and drama? All the way through Primary and High School, our household wouldn’t buy basins and flasks because I took a large number of them everytime there was MDD in school…..sigh. I can’t magine what my parents thought I was going to end up being (but thats a story for another day).
I also once remember thinking I was going to be a swimmer, yep, yours truly was on the Junior National Swim Team. But then, I also did well in Sports and Academics, so….. I was pretty confused.

In the comments section, please share with us what helped you determine your purpose, was it your parents forcing you to do a course? Or was there a problem for which you have a solution? Maybe it’s the money you could potentially earn from this trade…..but maybe it’s because its what everyone is doing or it’s because it comes too easy for you, you can do it in your sleep.
