National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) regrets to inform it’s valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply today Tuesday 25th March, 2025 from 9pm to 6am, Wednesday 26th March, 2025.
This is to allow for emergency works along the Ggaba-Muyenga bulk water transmission main.
The engineers will work overnight to mitigate the effects of the downtime.
Affected areas Include:
Muyenga, Kansanga, Nsambya, Makindye, Parts of the Kampala Central Business District, Kololo, Bugolobi, Nakawa, parts of Naguru, Kyambogo, Jinja rd, Rubaga, Namirembe, parts of Mutundwe, Nansana, Matugga, Kawanda, Bombo road, Bulenga, Buloba, parts of Wakiso, Nateete, Kanyanya, Mulago, Makerere, Kamwokya, Mawanda road and the surrounding areas.
Customers are therefore advised to store enough water and use it sparingly during this downtime.
