The Minister of Science and Technology who also doubles as the Member of Parliament (MP) Sheema Municipality Hon. Elioda Tumwesigye has praised Mbagwa Gospel Band Foundation for doing a good job by pledging to support 2 orphans from each village from Kiziba Cell in Sheema Municipality.
Dr Elioda Foundation also promised to pay for 2 orphans from the same villages. The launch was at Shield of Faith Nursery and Primary School in Kiziba Ward, Sheema Municipality. Hon. Elioda called on the general public to support the above school which is doing wonders despite being down deep in the remote area.
“At the Launch of Mbagwa Gospel Band Foundation at Shield of Faith Nursery and Primary School in Kiziba Ward Sheema Municipality. This has been initiated by Pastor Lamech Natukwatsa. The foundation pledged to support at least 2 needy orphans/vulnerable children from each of the village/cell of Kiziba Ward and Dr Elioda Foundation will also match it with 2 Children from the same villages. Shield of Faith was the 7th best performing at PLE in Sheema district and the headteacher has Masters in Management. We welcome any support to this school located deep in a remote area of Kiziba but doing wonders and whose director Kenneth is a member of SUSA undertaking Bachelors of Environmental Science. They are setting up a computer lab. The best way is to support a needy child undertake studies here. It costs about 130k per term for day scholars and about 250k for boarders,” Dr. Elioda Tumwesigye said.
