The Electoral Commission Uganda has kicked off display of Village Women Residents Register.
The display of the Village Women Residents Register will be conducted for a period of two (2) days, that is, Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th June 2022, at display centres in all villages/cells across the country.
The purpose of the display is to enable all the women who registered to confirm that their particulars were correctly captured.
The display will also enable the public to recommend the removal of ineligible person (woman) from the Register.
