Uganda’s celebrated young farmer and businessman Dr. Aggrey Kyobuguzi has been appointed as Senior VP Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in charge of Agricultural Innovations and Research at ICOA.
Dr. Kyobuguzi is a dynamic Farmer, Rotarian, and CEO of Kentim Group, known for his innovative contributions to agriculture and business.
His vast experience and visionary leadership will be invaluable in advancing our agricultural initiatives.
He is a nominee for the 2024 Responsible Investment Global Certification Award, recognizing his promotion of responsible investment and adherence to international best practices.
According to Mr Julius Murinzi – ICOA President, ICOA convention Investment & Trade expo will take place on 11th to 14th October 2024 and attract International investors to invest in Ankore in areas of Agriculture value addition in dairy products, coffee, matooke among others,Investors will also have a kern eye on Tourism areas like what is at Igongo, Kitagata Hot Springs, Agri-Tourism & also renewable Energy will be a key area of interest for American and other international investors who will also pump money in Climate smart Innovations.
President Murinzi said, ICOA will give all tourism enthusiasts to showcase Ankore culture,Tourism sites, Ankore long horned cattle.
Hon. Evelyn Anite in her capacity as Minister for Investment will be a guest speaker at the event.
The Minister of State for Gender and Labour Hon. Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi has been appointed ICOA Ambassador Uganda.
Prof Edward Bantu and Colonel Fred Mwesigye former MP Nyabushozi will also be guest speakers too at ICOA
