Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa tells young people to build their brands under BUBU
The Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon.Thomas Tayebwa yesterday officiated at the Uganda Young Entrepreneurship summit 2022 at Serena Hotel. He said it is always an honor for him to interact with young people.

“The rate of unemployment is still high, therefore, I am encouraged when I meet young people who are not thinking about being employed but working hard to create the much needed jobs in our economy,” Rt Hon. Thomas Tayebwa said.

He said Government has been supporting various programs to entrepreneurs like the Youth Livelihood Fund, Youth Venture Capital Fund, Operation Wealth Creation, Emyooga program and now the Parish Development Model.

“These are some of the programs under which young entrepreneurs can access government support for their respective investments. I encouraged the young people to build their brands under BUBU in order to become players in the international market,” Rt Hon. Thomas Tayebwa added.

He thanked Mr. Edwin Musiime, the President, Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs for creating an empowering network for young entrepreneurs.
