Finally Carol Atuhirwe has left the country for cancer surgery abroad. Carol who is suffering from throat and lung cancers left this evening for India.
She has been battling the dangerous disease for the last five years. Carol was supposed to travel to US for surgery but doctors later pulled out and she is now headed to India.
The general raise Shs 353m of the 270m she needed for her treatment. She has since become a sweetheart of Uganda. We wish her a quick recovery.
