The Jazz and Beats show that was scheduled to take place this Friday 27th May 2016 at Golf Course Hotel has been called off. Inside sources told this website that the orgnaniser of the show Monica Akech of Afrost events failed to pay service providers as well as artistes’ air tickets.
Apparently Monica is being held at airport in Tanzania for failing to pay air tickets for artistes. The Tanzanian show also didn’t take place. The show was supposed to feature jazz stars like Erik Smith from Norway, Banana Zorro from Tanzania, Joseph Hellon from Kenya and our very own Brian Mugenyi.
Although the artists are already in the country, the show has been called off because of the poor organization and failure to pay service providers. What a shame from Monica!!!
