Events promoter Balaam Barugahara has called on President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to consider giving farmers improved seeds as he prepares to address the nation again today over COVID-19 pandemic.
Balaam said the Covid-19 pandemic is likely to bring hard times a head and there was a need for the country to have food security and this can only happen if farmers are given improved seeds for quality and quantity production.
“Dear Mr President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni as you prepare to address the Nation today, Papa of the Nation kindly consider giving/ boasting your Farmers who wish to plant but luck Agro Input with Improved Seeds /Agro inputs to Plant its raining everywhere. We need to have food security . Covid-19 seems to bring hard times a head ! I will be glad if my request is put under your kind Consideration we can’t afford giving people free food forever its not sustainable,” Balaam said.
